2008 Fall Calendar for meetings and field trips

Further details of all 2008 field trips will be posted to the State College Bird Club listserv group.

Unless otherwise noted, all regular meetings will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the Meeting Room in the Community Building in the Foxdale Village Retirement Community.

Details of local field trips will be announced on the scbirdcl e-mail list.

September 14, 2008 (Sunday)
** Field Trip: Jack's Mt Hawkwatch
Meet at the Ferguson Township Elementary School in Pine Grove Mills at 9:00
and car pool to the hawkwatch. Led by Roana Fuller and Jen Lee.

September 24, 2008 (Wednesday)
Regular Meeting
7:00 p.m. Foxdale Village Meeting Room
Program: Our guest speaker will be Ann Bodling who will give a program
on Planting for Pa Wildlife with PA Native Plants.

October 22, 2008 (Wednesday)
Regular Meeting
7:00 p.m. Foxdale Village Meeting Room
Program: Our guest speaker will be Jim Curtis who will give a program on
birds seen during a trip to Ethiopia (video of selected species)

October 25, 2008 (Saturday)
** Field Trip: Waggoners Gap Hawkwatch.
Meet in the Westerly Parkway shopping center behind the Omega Bank.
Led by Debra Grim.

November 9, 2008 (Sunday)
** Field Trip: Bald Eagle State Park areas and Curtin Wetland
Meet at Westerly Parkway behind the Omega Bank at 7:15am to carpool or meet at Milesburg McDonald’s near I-80 at 8am.  We will bird until 11:30 am.
Led by Bob Snyder or Debra Grim.

November 12, 2008 (Wednesday)
