2010 Spring Calendar for meetings and field trips

Details of the field trips are currently tentative and will be revised as they become available.

Unless otherwise noted, all regular meetings will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the Meeting Room
at the Community Building in the Foxdale Village Retirement Community.

Details of local field trips will be announced on the scbirdcl e-mail list.

January 3, 2010 (Sunday) Bald Eagle State Park Christmas Bird Count

January 27, 2010 (Wednesday)
Regular Meeting
7:00 p.m. Foxdale Village Meeting Room
Program: Our guest speakers will be Deb and Greg Grove who will talk about
birding in Nebraska.

February 23, 2010 (Tuesday)
** Field Trip: Owls of Bald Eagle State Park
Meet behind the Omega Bank on Westerly Parkway in State College at 6:45 pm
to carpool, or meet at the BESP main office at 7:30 p.m.

February 24, 2010 (Wednesday)

Program: Our guest speaker will be Jason Hill, a Penn State graduate student, who will talk about "Habitat Use Patterns and Limiting Factors of Bird Populations".

March 13, 2010 (Saturday)
** Field Trip: Middle Creek
Meet at the Boalsburg Museum parking lot at 7:30 – this is the parking lot off route 322/45 and is beside where they hold the People’s Choice Festival. The group will return about 7pm.  Please let Deb or Roana know if you are interested.
